Well, I had another dream. I just wish I had someone around like Joseph who could interpret the dreams for me. My fear, however, is that someday I may dream about 3 white baskets on my head and in the upper-most basket are bakemeats for the Pharaoh wherein birds are eating the things out of the basket on my head. The last poor bugger who dreamed this dream saw his demise three days later.
I would really like to have some understanding to why Kevin Bacon continues to haunt me and my dreams. Perhaps one day he will inquire with Aspen Hills Mortgage for a loan, or maybe I have a hidden motive to be Footloose.
Although my recent dream didn't directly involve Kevin Bacon, I did dream about something that reminded me of a movie.
Do you remember the movie Freaky Friday? There have been different variations of the original. One came out in 2003 with Lindsay Lohan, but the one I remember was with Jodie Foster in 1976.
The general plot summary for the movie is that a mother and daughter both feel like the other has a simpler life. On a Friday, both complain about each other and wish they could have the easy life of the other for just one day. The wish comes true: The daughter becomes the mother and the mother becomes the daughter.....in some kind of freaky magical "body possession" thing. Hence the reason it is called Freaky Friday.
Well, because Kevin Bacon was missing from this dream, I figured I better determine what the Kevin Bacon number to Jodie Foster may be. It is 2 (Jodie Foster was in Sommersby with Maury Chaykin and she was in the movie Where the Truth Lies with Kevin Bacon).
So....back to my dream: I had a dream that I switched bodies with my wife.
My wife could no longer multi-task (in my body), but I was doing all kinds of multi-tasking in her body. It was awesome! I watched a baseball game, ate a sandwich, nursed a baby and mopped the floor, all at the same time.
Coralee, (in my body), was really getting frustrated. I think the only benefit she found was the ability to walk outside and pee on a tree.
The next morning, I told Cora about my dream. She immediately suggested we get pregnant. I think I'd rather remain in my own body and pass a kidney stone.

so you took the blog private, eh? probably a good choice. it's too bad they don't make a feature that lets you do an rss feed despite it being private. anyway.
ReplyDeleteI agree. That's the one problem with all of these private blogs, I can't see the feed. Oh well.
